Francis Schaeffer

Through Justin at http://www.radicalcongruency.com, I "discovered" Francis Schaeffer for the first time. Need to ask my pastor and others about what they think of him. I am intrigued, especially as he looks to have competent answers for those whose faith has to be based strongly in reason. He is also trumpeted as the most read apologist outside of C.S. Lewis.

The site that is all FS all the time is: http://www.rationalpi.com/theshelter/index.html.

I highly respect Francis Schaeffer's writings. Very appealing to the rational side.
I recently read a book by his wife on L'Abri, the community which God created in Switzerland around the Schaeffer's home. Pretty amazing stuff.
I imagine I'm more influenced by his work than I know.

Yes I've heard great things about Francis Schaffer and have read a few books by his wife Edith Schaffer. They are both deep thinkers and deeply committed to the faith.
